The Boost & Timer is a set of Boost VSD and After Idle Timer.
Boost VSD provides a digital display of turbo boost pressure and
boost pressure warning lights. After Idle Timer is a sophisticated
timer that maintains engine idle for selectable times after the
ignition is turned off.
Boost VSD and After Idle Timer can be purchased separately.
This product is designed to indicate exhaust manifold pressure. The
analog and digital values can be displayed at the same time.
PEAK HOLD FUNCTION
After the vehicle's ignition is turned ON, the highest intake
manifold pressure is recorded and displayed. If the intake
manifold pressure exceeds a fixed value on the display, the
value is renewed. The LED bar indicator provides an analog
display of the intake manifold pressure in real time, even
in peak hold mode.
TURBO TIMER MODE * After Idle Timer is necessary to use Turbo Timer function.
The level of the intake manifold pressure is constantly monitored
by the pressure sensor.
If the turbo charger of the engine is actuated, the timer
increases the after idling time. If not, the timer is set
automatically to decrease the after idling time to suit the
intake manifold pressure.
The timer can be set to two modes of Auto and Manual. In Auto
Mode a choice of three timer intervals is available.
Auto Modes : short(S), medium(M) and long(L) (3 intervals)
Manual Mode : (1 interval)
OVER BOOST WARNING MODE
If the intake manifold pressure exceeds preset values, the warning
LED illuminates. The boost pressure sensor can be set to actuate
at two levels.
Caution LED: Yellow
Warning LED: Red
REAL MODE
The intake manifold pressure of gasoline turbo, diesel turbo
and gasoline vehicles is displayed in a real time in both of
digital and analog forms.
Driver's visibility and viewing time can be adjusted to suit
driver comfort.
High intensity LEDs are used for the display.
The display and control units are located in separate
cases for easy installation and operation.
Display brightness is adjusted being interlocked
with the illumination switch of the vehicle.
Functions of this product as an automatic timer that permits
a vehicle to continue idling for a period of time after the
ignition key is turned off. The product sets the after idle
time taking into account the intake manifold pressure load,
based upon the calculation of the air vacuum pressure and
time during driving by a micro computer of the Boost V.S.D.
For the timer functions, time settings can be selected from
the following four types.
Auto Modes: short(S) timer, medium(M) timer, long(L)timer, timer,
Manual Mode
The product can be set to suit the intake manifold pressures
from gasoline turbo, diesel turbo and gasoline vehicles.
The product is easy to install. Replace the connectors from
the appropriate wires for your type of vehicle. These wires
should be available from your local hardware and auto-parts
stores.
